The European Championships in table hockey was played in Överum, Sweden the 11 - 13 of June. Ahti Lampi from Finland beat Alexey Zaharov from Russia in the final for men and Hans Österman from Sweden finished in third place.
The women tournament was dominated by Russia taking the three first places.
Gold to Maria Yalbacheva, silver to Mariya Miloradova and bronze to Elena Nikitina.
In team, Sweden became champions for men and Russia for women.
